I’ve been job searching for about 3.5 months now and have submitted around 100 applications. Unfortunately, most of them have gone unanswered, I've received a few rejections, and I only managed to schedule one interview, which ultimately fell through. I graduated just a month ago with a B.S. in criminology and a minor in sociology. While I’ve been tailoring my resumes to fit each job, I haven't had any luck so far. My work experience is primarily in retail and hospitality, but I’m eager to transition into a different field. I'm open to opportunities outside my current state and am not limiting myself geographically. I'm reaching out for advice on how to improve my chances of landing a job or even getting an interview at this point.
