I just experienced a massive layoff at LegalZoom. During a town hall meeting, they announced that we should check our emails to find out if our positions were safe. Shortly after, I noticed a wave of Slack deactivations, which felt like a graveyard of lost jobs. It’s unsettling to see such drastic cuts happening in both 2023 and 2024. I can’t help but wonder what the future holds for the company and its remaining employees.
