I feel so defeated after losing my job three months ago when my company shut down due to the CEO's debt issues. Since then, I've been on an exhausting job search, applying to everything from positions related to my major to office, factory, and retail jobs. I've submitted hundreds of applications, sometimes hitting a dozen in a single day on platforms like Indeed. Despite my efforts, I've only landed about eight interviews. One of the interviews I went through two rounds for ended poorly; the interviewer seemed friendly but clearly didn't take me seriously and ended with a 'good luck on the job hunt' comment. This whole experience has left me feeling overwhelmed with rage and hopelessness. I just want to be able to go to the grocery store without stressing over my savings, think about moving out, and enjoy life again. It's hard to articulate my feelings, but I feel utterly defeated.
