I just received a reprimand at work for what I thought was a harmless comment. I complimented a coworker who had completed a project for me by saying, "that'll do, pig," referencing the movie Babe. Unfortunately, she had never seen the film and took it the wrong way. Now, I’m worried I might lose my job over this misunderstanding, so I’ve started looking for new opportunities. I guess I should have just stuck to a simple "thank you" instead.
