I have an interview scheduled for Monday at 10 AM, and I’m currently working a temporary job at a UPS Store. I’ve already submitted my two-week notice, with my last day being the 28th. I’m a bit unsure about how to approach my current employer regarding my interview. I also have two more interviews lined up for Wednesday. Should I just call in sick for those days? I’ve heard from others that it’s okay to keep the details private and just say I have an appointment. Any advice on how to handle this situation would be appreciated!

I have an interview scheduled for this coming Monday for a position that I'm really excited about. Currently, I'm in a challenging situation at my job where I feel undervalued and unappreciated. I've been looking for new opportunities for a while now, and this interview feels like a promising chance to make a change. I'm preparing thoroughly and hoping to present my skills effectively. Fingers crossed!

I quit my job at a UPS retail store today after just two weeks. I didn't even show up this morning and blocked everyone's phone numbers so I wouldn't have to deal with them. I was making $17.50 an hour for about 30 hours a week, but there were no benefits. My role mostly involved RFID scanning packages and handling Amazon returns, but the store manager never really trained me on anything beyond that. The owner spent his time in the office talking to himself and throwing boxes around, which was unsettling. The store manager was always running around in a panic, and instead of helping me develop my skills, she just asked me about my lunch and personal life. It was clear to me that this was a dysfunctional workplace, and I realized I wasn't going to grow as an employee here. I'm ready to move on.
