I received a baffling email today from a company thanking me for interviewing for a role that I never even applied for. The message stated, "Thank you again for taking the time to speak with our team about the {{jobTitle}} role. We enjoyed learning more about you and your experience." It’s frustrating to see such a lack of attention to detail in the hiring process. Not only did I not interview, but they also couldn’t be bothered to fill in the job title. It really makes me question how anyone can find a job in a culture that seems so careless.
