I recently quit my job just two days ago because I thought I had found a better opportunity with a new company that offered a higher salary. In my excitement and greed, I decided to leave my current position before I had received a formal acceptance. Unfortunately, I ended up getting rejected by the new company, and now I'm left without a job. I feel like I want to scream, but I know I have no one to blame but myself. This experience has taught me a hard lesson about the importance of waiting for a confirmed start date before resigning from my current job. I wish I had taken the advice to keep my current role until everything was finalized with the new position.
