I was laid off last year from my role as a marketing coordinator at a mid-sized tech company. The experience hit me hard, and I’m still processing the emotions tied to that unexpected change. To cope, I started writing poetry, and I recently drafted a piece that captures my feelings about the layoff. It reflects the uncertainty and the journey of finding my footing again in the job market. Writing has been therapeutic, helping me articulate the mix of loss and hope I feel as I navigate this new chapter.
