Golduz's journey

I recently started my job search after completing my Ph.D., and it's been quite a journey. I've been diving deep into various resources about resume writing, ATS (Applicant Tracking System) optimization, and how AI is reshaping the job market in 2026. I even created my own ATS-friendly LaTeX resume template and have been using AI to help tailor my applications. It's clear that the job market is extremely competitive now, and I’m eager to hear how others are navigating this landscape. I'm particularly interested in how people are leveraging AI for resume creation, optimizing their applications for ATS, and utilizing their networks for job leads. What strategies have worked best for you? As someone just starting out, I’d appreciate any insights or experiences you can share. I’ve also documented my journey and some lessons learned on LinkedIn, which I hope can be helpful to others as well.
