I recently graduated with a degree in Pharmacy in July, and I’ve been struggling to find a job that aligns with my dream of having a 9-5 schedule. I’ve looked into various opportunities, but most of the positions available are in retail drugstores like CVS, which I find unappealing due to their demanding work schedules. With only one day off a week, I feel like I wouldn’t have time to pursue my studies or any hobbies. The work environment there seems tough, with difficult managers and challenging customers. I’ve come to terms with the fact that finding a job in my preferred areas is quite difficult in my country, so I’m now considering enrolling in a tech school. I hope this will provide me with the chance to secure an internship in the industry, allowing for a fresh start. Although my initial dreams in pharmacy feel shattered, I’m determined to keep searching for a decent job, even if it means starting with a lower salary. What matters most to me is having a structured schedule that allows me to invest in my personal growth during evenings and weekends.
