However, I'm currently facing a frustrating delay with my drug test results. I submitted my urine sample at Quest Diagnostics ten days ago, and while I was informed that the results usually take 24-48 hours, I'm still waiting. First Advantage completed my background check within 72 hours, but they are now in a holding pattern waiting for the drug test results. I don't use any drugs at all, so I’m feeling anxious about the possibility of something going wrong, like an inconclusive result or a false positive, which I've heard can happen. I’m worried that a mistake on their part could jeopardize my new job opportunity. Has anyone else experienced a significant delay in drug test results that ended up being fine? How long did you have to wait before you received your results?
