Applied at Smoothie King for smoothie maker

I recently had a very negative experience working at Smoothie King. I started as a smoothie maker, but on my first day, I noticed that the management style was extremely micromanaging. In fact, a coworker of mine quit right away because the District Manager was pressuring her to work faster, even though she had never made smoothies before. During my time there, I was criticized by an assistant manager for not smiling while making smoothies, even though I was just trying to focus on my tasks. I had my hands on my hips while waiting for a smoothie to blend, which apparently was perceived as a bad attitude. Ironically, my other coworkers were also not smiling, but I felt singled out. Things escalated quickly, and I was fired shortly after because the General Manager claimed I wasn't a good fit for the team. This was surprising since both the District Manager and the shift leader had previously told me I was doing a good job. Overall, I would not recommend working at Smoothie King. The management is terrible, and they treat their employees poorly while the pay is quite low for the demands of the job.
