  1. 1

I finally landed an interview after sending out over 300 applications, which was quite the journey filled with many rejections. I had my first interview on Tuesday, and I felt it went pretty well. Today, I had the second interview, and I think that went well too. During this second interview, the manager mentioned that if I’m chosen, there will be two more interviews to go through. Is this normal? I’ve never had to go through four interviews for a job before, especially for a business operations coordinator position that pays between $43,000 and $55,000. It seems excessive to me, but maybe I’m just not used to this process. I understand the need to find the right candidate, but each interview has been over an hour long, which feels a bit much for a role like this. On the bright side, I’m glad to have made it past the wall of 300 applications, so I’m trying to stay positive about the whole experience.
