I’ve been working at my current company for a little over three years now. Initially, it was great since my fiancé's family owned the business, but after it was sold to a corporation, a lot changed. While I enjoy bringing my dog to work and getting to see my fiancé during lunch, I’m starting to feel the drawbacks. I'm handling both customer service and accounts payable for less than $40k a year, which feels unfair given my workload. Recently, I received an offer from a credit union for a position that pays $65k a year, includes two bonuses annually, and offers two more weeks of PTO than I currently have. They also mentioned potential growth into a senior accounts payable role, which is exciting. I’m torn because I’m comfortable where I am, and the idea of making a big change is intimidating. However, I recognize that I could be doing better for myself. I’m reaching out to see what others would do in my situation. Would you take the new job?
