I recently applied for a manager position with a salary range of $150k. After submitting my screening responses, I was surprised to receive an invitation for a first interview with a panel of three people. It's been almost 15 years since I last interviewed, as I've been self-employed as a Realtor, so I'm not really sure what the current norms are. Is it typical to skip a recruiter call and go straight to a panel interview? I'm wondering if this indicates that they are particularly interested in me or if this is just standard procedure for managerial roles. I would love to hear about others' experiences with this kind of interview process!
