I’m starting to wonder if we’re heading into another wave of job losses. Some people in the comments are predicting a surge through the end of October, while others mention that their previous companies have been aggressively cutting staff. It’s unsettling to think about the possibility of facing layoffs again.

I recently read an article about the job market, but it just doesn't reflect what I'm experiencing here in Los Angeles, CA. It feels like the market is stagnant, with layoffs happening in various industries almost daily. I've noticed that unemployment benefits don't last long enough to cover the duration of unemployment, which adds to the stress.
