I finally got a job offer from a company I applied to months ago, and I was really excited since it was a full-time hybrid role. However, just a couple of days in, I'm experiencing a bit of a shock. I was promised certain hours, but I'm not getting them because there isn't any work available for me to do. It's such a contrast from my last job where I was constantly busy and handling multiple tasks. I spoke with the person training me, and they mentioned they have a lot on their plate but nothing to assign me at the moment. I'm starting to wonder if this is a red flag or just a temporary situation. Should I give it more time or be concerned?
