I'm considering going back to school to pursue a degree in software or IT, mainly because both programs offer co-op options. The tuition would be around $10,000 for two years, and I could potentially gain up to eight months of co-op experience. However, I'm really worried about the risk involved. I've been unemployed for almost two years now, and my biggest fear is ending up in the same situation after graduation. I'm trying to weigh the benefits of the co-op experience against the possibility of not finding a job afterward.
