I currently work at a local cafe, but the pay is really low and they've been cutting my hours lately. I've got a job interview tomorrow at another food establishment, and I'm unsure how to explain my reason for leaving. I can't really say it's for career advancement since the new place is quite similar to my current job in terms of the food style. I've seen some suggestions from others, like saying I want to work more hours or that I'm looking for better pay. I think being honest about the pay issue might be the best approach, but I also want to avoid sounding negative about my current job. I just hope I can present it in a way that shows I'm eager to work more and earn a better wage.
