I've been actively searching for a job and have been applying online, sending cold emails, and even reaching out via WhatsApp. Despite my efforts, I haven't seen any results so far. I'm starting to feel like the online application process might not be as effective as everyone claims. It seems like many companies are using AI to filter CVs, which makes me think that applicants are also using AI to craft their resumes. This creates a sense of mistrust in the hiring process. I'm considering going back to more traditional methods like dropping off my CV in person, networking, or leveraging personal connections to find job opportunities. I feel like this might be a more effective approach, especially with smaller businesses that don't rely heavily on online applications.
