I accepted a verbal offer for a position at a company with around 5,000 employees on Friday morning at 11 AM. Now it's Monday at 1 PM, and I haven't received any written confirmation from the recruiter yet. I'm starting to feel a bit anxious about the delay. I understand that it might take some time for the offer to go through legal and HR processes, but I can't help but wonder if I should be concerned about the lack of communication. I plan to give it a day or two before I follow up.

I accepted a verbal offer for a position on Friday morning, but I haven't received the written offer letter yet. It's now the weekend, and I'm starting to wonder if I should be concerned about the delay. I know that sometimes it can take a few days for the offer letter to be generated, but I really hope to see it soon. I plan to follow up on Monday if I haven't heard anything by the end of the day. I understand that they do the verbal offer first to confirm acceptance before going through the process of creating the written offer, but the wait is making me a bit anxious.

I had a scheduled Zoom interview with a hiring manager that I was really looking forward to, but unfortunately, I got stood up. I waited for about 30 minutes before I decided to reach out to the recruiter, who was my only point of contact. After messaging her, she said she would look into it, but I can't help but feel frustrated. Is it common for candidates to be ghosted like this during the interview process? I thought it was pretty disrespectful, but I’ve seen mixed opinions on whether it’s just part of the job search game nowadays.

I recently experienced being ghosted during an interview, which was a first for me. I had an interview scheduled on Teams and logged in, waiting for 30 minutes before deciding to log out. I even sent the recruiter an email after 15 minutes of waiting, but I never received a response. It was really disheartening, and I was surprised to find out from others that this seems to be happening more frequently now. One commenter mentioned they've been ghosted 12 times, which makes me wonder if this is becoming the new norm in job interviews.
