I had an interview last week for a position at a local retail store, and everything seemed to go well during the process. I shared my availability, and they even mentioned I could start fresh on Monday. I was given a tour of the facility, which felt promising. However, a couple of days later, I disclosed a medical condition to my supervisor, who assured me it wouldn't be an issue and suggested we could meet to discuss it further. I was also told that the work schedule would be sent out soon. When I didn't receive the schedule after waiting for a while, I decided to call for an update. They informed me that they would send the schedule soon. After waiting some more, I called the store again, only to find out that I wasn't on the schedule for the week. This led me to reach out to my manager for clarification. To my surprise, I was told that my availability didn't match what they needed, and they seemed unaware that the supervisor hadn't communicated this to me. I'm really frustrated with the lack of communication throughout this process. I was led to believe I could start working there, and the unclear communication has left me feeling confused and disappointed.
