I recently had an interview for a warehouse position through a third-party agency, which I was really excited about since it offered decent pay. However, after the interview, I didn't hear back from them for a while. When I reached out to the agency, they informed me that they had moved forward with another candidate and suspended applications, meaning I wasn't selected. This experience left me feeling discouraged. As a 20-year-old with no job experience, I can't help but wonder why they would choose me over other applicants who likely have more experience and physical capability for the role. This was one of the few in-person interviews I've managed to secure in a year of sending out CVs to various job openings, and it feels like I'm stuck in a cycle of rejection.
