I recently signed a job offer, but now I’m facing a potential issue with the background check. I realized that I mistakenly listed the wrong graduation dates on my CV for both my MA and BA degrees; I put June instead of July, although the year is correct. I also made a similar mistake with one of my previous jobs, listing a month earlier than the actual date, which is only a few days off. I wrote my CV from memory, and I didn’t stretch any periods, just made some typos. I’m worried they might withdraw the offer because of this. I’ve seen some comments suggesting that date accuracy isn’t a big deal as long as my degree is valid, but I’m still anxious about it. What should I do?
