I recently went through the interview process for a role that I was really excited about, but I ended up declining the job offer because I thought I had a better opportunity on the horizon. Now, I'm in talks with a recruiter for a different position, and I'm wondering if I should be upfront about having turned down that previous offer. Would it help my case to mention it, or could it backfire? I'm trying to gauge whether being transparent about my decision could show my commitment or if it might raise red flags.
