I recently decided to pivot my career towards HR after completing an internship, as I felt my bachelor’s degree wasn’t leading me anywhere. Living in Georgia, I thought the job market would be favorable, but I’ve been struggling to secure interviews despite having transferable skills. I've applied to numerous positions, but nothing seems to stick. I’m aware that my only direct experience is from my internship, and most of the roles I’m finding aren’t entry-level, which makes it hard to gain more experience. I’m feeling quite discouraged at 27 without a stable career path and really want to avoid dead-end jobs. I reached out for advice on how to improve my resume, which I shared (with personal info removed), hoping to get pointers on tailoring it for HR roles. I’m open to any suggestions on what I might be missing or specific areas to focus on in my job search.
