I recently got fired from my role at a tech startup where I worked as a software developer. I'm preparing for upcoming interviews and I'm unsure about how to address my termination. I've read that the common advice is to be honest but vague, but I feel more comfortable saying that I left voluntarily and providing a professional reason. I'm also concerned about what to say if potential employers ask if they can contact my previous job for a reference. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
