Feeling uncertain about starting my Sales Coordinator role due to chaotic onboarding process

I accepted a permanent Sales Coordinator role, but I'm starting to have serious doubts about my decision. The recruitment process has been chaotic, to say the least. Initially, the job was advertised as permanent, but I was offered a six-month fixed-term contract instead. After some back and forth, and me nearly walking away, they finally agreed to a permanent position. Now, with my start date set for tomorrow, I still haven't received my contract or any details about onboarding. The start date has been changed multiple times, and I was told my line manager would reach out to me last week with a plan, but that never happened. I don't even know what time to arrive, where to go, or who I'll be meeting. I feel like I'm left in the dark less than 24 hours before I'm supposed to start. This morning, I chased the recruiter again, and she apologized, saying my line manager would call me to discuss tomorrow's arrangements. That call still hasn't happened. HR mentioned they just triggered my contract, but I haven't received anything yet. It's frustrating that I'm having to chase for information that should have been provided upfront. I'm also concerned about the work environment. During the interview, the manager mentioned that the person currently in the role couldn't manage the workload, which raises red flags about whether the expectations are realistic. I've seen some Glassdoor reviews that mention issues like micromanagement and a lack of support, which adds to my worries. Given all this, I've asked if I can push my start date back to next week. I want to take the time to read through my contract and have my first-day arrangements confirmed before jumping in. I genuinely want this opportunity, especially after being unemployed for almost four months, but these issues make me question if I should proceed. If things aren't resolved today, I might have to reconsider taking the job.
