I had a second-stage interview on Tuesday for a role that I felt went really well. I answered the competency questions confidently and built a good rapport with the managers. They mentioned I would hear back from the recruiter by the end of the week regarding the outcome. It's now Friday evening, and I haven't received any feedback. I've spent the day waiting for an email, feeling anxious about whether it would be good or bad news. Not hearing anything has me worried, as my past experiences suggest that silence often means I wasn't successful. However, I've read stories of others who were told they'd hear back by a certain day and then received positive news later. Has anyone else been in a similar situation where they didn't hear back when expected but eventually got good news? I'm trying to stay positive but also don't want to get my hopes up.
