I was recently laid off from my corporate job after 17 years, which has left me feeling lost and at a crossroads. Before that, I spent 3.5 years at my first job out of college. While I've been searching for new corporate positions, I realize that this isn't what I truly want. The thought of sitting behind a computer all day doesn't inspire me, and since I don't own a home and have minimal expenses, I feel like I have some flexibility in my next steps. I'm looking for advice on how to break free from this slump and explore new opportunities. I know that after such a long time in one place, it's normal to feel disoriented, but I'm eager to find a path that excites me.
