Frustrating interview experience leads to accepting a new job offer

I recently had an interview with a company that left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. I showed up 30 minutes early, only to wait another 30 minutes past the scheduled time without any acknowledgment from the interviewer. When we finally met, the interview lasted a mere 5 minutes, and he asked me only the basic questions from my application, showing no real interest in my qualifications or experience. I spent $50 on an Uber to get there since my truck is in the shop, which felt like a waste, especially since I'm currently without income. To make matters worse, I felt I was over-qualified for the role and expected a more meaningful conversation. After this experience, I realized I might have dodged a bullet. I accepted another job the day before the HR lady got back to me, and I followed up with her to let her know. I think it’s important for companies to treat candidates with respect; otherwise, they risk losing out on dedicated professionals.
