I applied for a job about a month ago at a company that recently closed the application window. I have a connection who knows the hiring manager, and she reached out to let them know about my strong application. However, I'm still waiting to hear back. The job posting clearly stated "no phone calls," but I'm considering reaching out to the hiring manager on LinkedIn to express my continued interest and highlight how I could contribute to the team. I'm unsure if this would be appropriate given the guidelines in the job ad.
