I had a final round interview on Thursday for a position at a company I was really excited about. They mentioned it would take about 1-2 weeks to make a decision, so I was hopeful. However, the very next day, I checked the job application portal and saw that my status had changed to 'no longer in consideration.' It feels pretty definitive, even though I haven't received a formal rejection email yet. It's disappointing, especially after making it to the final round.
