I'm currently in a tough spot at my job, having been here for almost 6 months now. I got laid off from my last position in logistics due to a major contract loss, and after a brief stint at a call center, I found my current role in account management. However, things haven't gone as smoothly as I hoped. I spent a month training at the main location, but after that, my training was supposed to continue at a different site closer to home. That's when everything started to unravel. My coworkers warned me about my trainer, making comments about her communication style, and I was told to question everything she said. It turns out there’s a lot of tension between her and some of the other staff, which I got caught in the middle of right from the start. Since June, my trainer has been out, likely on FMLA, and I've been left to manage her accounts while still trying to learn the ropes. It’s been incredibly stressful as I’m still figuring things out, and my managers seem dismissive of my struggles, telling me that everyone is stressed. I’ve been crying at work, feeling overwhelmed and unsupported. As I approach my six-month mark, I’m seriously considering leaving this job. I feel like I’m reliving the trauma from my last job shutting down, and I’m not sure how much longer I can handle this situation. I'm reaching out for advice or to hear if anyone else has faced a similar experience.
