I have a final interview coming up for a position in Michigan, and if everything goes well, the start date will be several weeks out in August. I'm trying to figure out how a delayed start like this affects my unemployment certification. Should I indicate that I've accepted a job based on the date of the last interview, even though I haven't started working yet? Also, do I still need to continue my job searches in the weeks leading up to my start date? I'm really concerned about making sure I handle this correctly so that I can keep up with my bills.
