I’m excited to share that I’ve just landed a new job after being laid off for 8 months! At 53, it felt daunting at times, especially as the primary breadwinner with my unemployment benefits running out soon. I had been actively interviewing but struggled to close the deal until now. This new company didn’t mind the gaps in my resume; they were eager to have me on board and offered the salary I was asking for. I went through some tough times during my job search, but I urge everyone to keep pushing forward. We can do this, GenXers! #Winning
