I recently reached out to my former employer, a pharmacy manager at the hospital where I interned for 1.5 years, to let them know I applied for pharmacist positions within the same health system. As a newly licensed pharmacist, I’m eager to get my foot in the door again. I’m looking for advice on how to effectively connect with my former employer or someone from the hiring team to help my application stand out in the interview process. It’s been about two weeks since I sent my initial email, and I’m unsure how to follow up. I’m also trying to network on LinkedIn to find the right contacts, but I don't feel very confident in my networking skills. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
