I have a meeting scheduled tomorrow with my manager and HR, labeled as "OPS Discussion." This was set up last minute, and I can't shake the anxiety about what it could mean. My performance in my engineering role hasn't been stellar, but I've been doing adequately, especially since we had a conversation about it a few weeks ago. I thought I was improving, but now I'm worried that the meeting might not be good news. The term "OPS" usually relates to organizational matters, so I'm hoping it’s not solely about me. I’ve seen comments suggesting it might be a Performance Improvement Plan or even worse, a termination. I’m trying to prepare myself for anything, including getting copies of important documents in case they cut my access right after the meeting.
