I just heard about a really unfair situation involving my friend who recently went through a lengthy interview process with a company. She made it through 3 or 4 rounds and was even offered the job, complete with an offer letter and a start date. However, the very next day, she received a call from HR saying they had made a mistake. They realized that her CV indicated she was still in the process of graduating, which led them to revoke her offer. It's so frustrating because her CV had been reviewed by multiple people in the company throughout the hiring process. Now, she feels completely shattered and isn't even answering calls. It's hard to believe that such a crucial detail could be missed after all that time and effort. I can't help but wonder, is this even fair?
