I experienced my second layoff in two years recently, which has been incredibly challenging for me. I worked at my first company for four years before being laid off, and after that, I dedicated several months to upskilling and learning new skills. I managed to secure a new job within six months and spent ten months there before moving on to a larger organization that offered better pay. Unfortunately, after just eight months in that role, I found myself laid off again.
