I’m currently juggling a full-time job and a part-time position at a larger company, which I took on for some extra income. I work just one day a week in this part-time role, but things have been quite chaotic lately. There's been significant turnover in management, and I was initially scheduled for training, but that has now ended without any further shifts scheduled for the next month. I feel completely in the dark about my training status—whether I'm ready to move on or if I need more training. I barely met the manager once, and he doesn’t even know who I am. A couple of months ago, I was supposed to have a meeting with him and another manager, but they both forgot about it, although one did show up. That manager has since quit, leaving just one behind. I reached out to the remaining manager two days ago to ask about my training and next steps, but his response felt dismissive, as if he hadn’t even read my message. I’ve noticed so many red flags at this job, particularly the disorganized training process and the lack of communication from management. It’s really turned me off from the position. I’m torn about whether I’m overreacting or if my feelings about quitting are valid. I don’t want to leave my coworkers in a lurch, especially after putting in so much effort, but this job has become quite stressful and unsatisfying.
