I am currently a geologist and, while I recognize that it's a decent job, I have found myself utterly disillusioned with it. The long hours—often exceeding 100 a week—have taken a toll on my life, and I feel like I've wasted so much time. I'm at a crossroads and really want to transition to remote work. I've been searching for legitimate remote job opportunities, but most of what I've come across seems to be multi-level marketing schemes, which I want to avoid. I'm reaching out to see what others in remote roles are doing that is both fulfilling and legitimate.
