I currently have a job, but the pay isn't great. Over the past year, I've submitted more than 1,000 resumes and managed to land only one interview, which is incredibly frustrating. I'm starting to wonder if the job market is as bad as it seems, especially with so many friends and family members getting laid off and struggling to find new opportunities. I see a lot of news about a 'job boom,' but it feels disconnected from my experience. It seems like the boom is mainly for those in AI-related fields, while others are left in the dust. I’ve tried everything, but the sheer volume of applications seems to be working against me, as recruiters are using AI to filter candidates. It feels like companies are looking for the perfect fit, which makes it even harder to get noticed. I’m really concerned about what the future holds for job seekers like me.
