I currently work in the inventory and returns team at a middleman company that sells appliances. I've been feeling unhappy in my role for quite some time now, so I've started looking for new job opportunities nearby. I have a good relationship with one of our vendors and I'm considering reaching out to him to ask if he knows of any job openings that might suit my background. I'm unsure if it's appropriate to do this and would appreciate any advice on how to approach the conversation.
