    I recently had an interview that felt incredibly positive. The interviewers were enthusiastic and even mentioned sending over a contract by Friday, which made me really excited about the opportunity. I was looking forward to starting work on Monday. However, when Friday came around, I received a rejection email saying I was not selected for the position. It was a disappointing experience, and I can't help but feel that maybe it would be better if they didn't raise my hopes if they weren't truly considering me for the role.

    I recently completed an Associates in Business, hoping it would lead to a fulfilling career, but I've found myself stuck in dead-end jobs that offer no raises or skill development. It's disheartening to see so many others in similar situations, with degrees that don't seem to matter in the job market. I've realized that many employers just want to see that degree on my resume, regardless of its relevance to the position. I’ve been considering the advice from others about gaining skills through certifications or hands-on experience, as it seems that might open more doors than my current degree. It feels like a tough reality for recent graduates, and I'm trying to navigate this landscape to find a better path forward.
