I recently received a raise just 10 weeks into my new job as a lawyer! The company does mid-year raises, and they decided to reward my excellent work without making me wait a full year. I'm so relieved I left my previous toxic firm, where I was constantly told I wouldn’t succeed in this field. After being unemployed for 8 months, this new role has been a breath of fresh air. I truly feel appreciated and respected here, and the support from my colleagues has been incredible.
