I recently decided to switch industries and I'm trying to set realistic expectations for how long it might take to land my first job in this new field. I've been doing a lot of research and reaching out to professionals in the industry, but I'm curious about others' experiences. How long did it take you to find your first job after making a similar switch? Did you find that networking was more effective for you, or did you have better luck with applications?
