I recently decided to start job hunting while still working full-time in IT. Honestly, the pay is low and the workload has become overwhelming, stripping away any enjoyment I used to have for my job. I've begun applying for retail positions, like shelf stacking, because I miss the simplicity of those roles. Surprisingly, some of these positions offer better pay and a lot less stress compared to my current job. I'm considering using the last couple of days of my annual leave for job interviews, as it would give me more flexibility. I plan to try and schedule interviews on weekends when possible, but I think taking a day off for this purpose could really help me out.
