I recently went through the interview process at Microsoft for a specific position (req number 1) on a team. After successfully completing the interviews, I received an offer for a different but similar position (req number 2) within the same team. I am currently in the onboarding process for this role. However, just as I was getting settled in, I noticed that they reopened req number 1. This situation has left me a bit puzzled, and I'm trying to understand what it could mean for my position and the team dynamics. I'm considering reaching out to my recruiter or hiring manager to get some clarity on the situation.
