Navigating Job Applications in Europe: Seeking Guidance for My Unique Journey

I recently found myself feeling quite lost in my job search after returning to Europe from Asia due to a mild disability. As a mixed-race individual in my 40s, I’m seeking a non-supervisory and non-fast-paced role, which has been challenging given the stigma around my background and situation. I have a unique perspective as a third culture kid, holding nationality from an EU country where I haven't spent much time, while my main cultural identity is American. I would love to return to the US, but I'm not a citizen, so I’m focusing my job search in Europe, particularly in France where I can speak French, albeit a bit rusty. I've faced significant racism and discrimination in the past, which led me to start my own business, but now I need to find a job that accommodates my new limitations. I’ve been applying for various roles in learning and development, as well as more general positions in hotels and stores. However, the job market feels daunting, especially with some of the overly complex job descriptions I’ve encountered. I’m reaching out to see if anyone has advice or experiences to share that could help me navigate this situation.
